Man Charged with Stabbing Another in the Chest in Dover

In the very early hours of October 11th, police officers received a call about an altercation outside of East Blackwell Street. Around 1:30 a.m., Dover police officers arrived at the Unique Bar and found the victim on the ground outside. The victim had noticeable severe stab wounds in his chest, and he was promptly transported to Morristown Medical Center. While scanning the area, police officers noticed a suspect with a knife. He was arrested on charges of second-degree aggravated assault, third-degree weapons offenses and third-degree terroristic threats. The victim’s condition has since stabilized, while the defendant is being held at the Morris County Correctional Facility. The entire incident is being investigated by the Dover Police Department.
